A Personal Request

There are some pretty big changes happening in my life right now. I'm blogging tonight, to ask that you guys, my family and friends, help me by lifting me and my children up in prayer as I decide what's next in our lives.

For My Columbia Peeps

I was at the Deli at Hy Vee today (buying a pound of black forest ham for sub sandwiches, if you must know) (and they were delicious if you must know) and they had these meal planner spiral books on the counter. I asked the woman working at the deli if they were free because I didn't see a price on them...

and they are!!

It seems you can't hardly get anything in this world for free anymore, so I snatched one of the boogers up. It comes with a tear-off-able (it's a word... I checked) (psych) shopping list, and fits easily into your purse.



run (don't walk!) to Hy Vee tomorrow and pick one up for FREE!! Or heck, go tonight... hamburger meat is 99 cents a pound after 9:00 at night.

I Pledge

This is what Levi and I have been working on today...



teaching a four year old the Pledge of Allegiance is harder than I would have thought. there's a lot of big words... like allegiance and indivisible.

Anyway... we're halfway through having it fully memorized. Maybe he'll have the whole thing down by July 4th.
